We are happy to welcome bass ace Rochon Westmoreland to the Slickbag family. His resume includes The Pointer Sisters, Jeffrey Osborne, Thelma Houston, Tom Scott, Bill Champlin only to name a few. Currently he is a steady member of the band Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns in Las Vegas. We are happy to welcome up and coming drum wiz Kevin ”K-Drums” Bowden Jr. to the Slickbag family. Kevin is an allround drummer that can be seen in a wide range of music styles such as jazz, hip-hop, rock, gospel, fusion etc. Kevin is endorsed by Soultone Cymbals and happens to be the first – but not least! – Slickbag Artist in the US and we are proud to support him with high quality gig bags.

We are proud to announce that Slickbag has started a collaboration with Evan Spaulding at Jonte Ark Productions in the US. We are proud to support their fantastic work helping overlooked musicians get together and play but also to be discovered. The music business is often very cynical, if you don’t show you don’t exist. We are happy to introduce some new partners to our Slickbag network. In Sweden we now provide keyboard bags to Andreasson Musik in Gothenburg and guitar bags to Östmans Musik in Örnsköldsvik.
Norway has been a hard nut to crack so far, but finally the ice is breaking and a large box stuffed with high quality guitar bags will be shipped to Guitar Workshop in Bekkestua, outside of Oslo.

We welcome drummer Peter Bylin to the artist roster. Peter is mostly known from the band Latin the Mood and as the drummer laying down the beats and grooves behind dynamic piano wizard Anders Widmark. Lately he has played several clinics performing with his own duo WIKMAN/BYLIN PROYECTO.

Recently we received new bag samples from the factory for evaluation. The new hardware bag has already been tested and will hopefully be on the market this spring.
A brand new design, the ”Day2Day Business bag”, aims for a completely different target group, and we are currently looking into a new retail and/or distribution network suitable for this bag.
